What Is "Assessment & Advice" (Emergency Fee)

An “Assessment & Advice” charge is added to an invoice for treatment (and/or advice) where no prior "treatment plan" has been generated. This is often referred to as an "Emergency" appointment.

Your dentist may apply a discount or waive this fee, which will still be itemised on your invoice.

The fee covers the time your dental team takes to assess, plan, advise, and document your emergency treatment (and/or advice).

The Assessment and Advice / Emergency fees for Existing and Walk-In patients are detailed in the fee guide below:

The fee guide occasionally takes several seconds to load, so please bear with us.
