What Is "Assessment & Advice" (Emergency Fee)

An “Assessment & Advice” charge is added to an invoice for treatment (and/or advice) where no prior "treatment plan" has been generated. This is often referred to as an "Emergency" appointment.

Your dentist may apply a discount or waive this fee, which will still be itemised on your invoice. 
​
The fee covers the time your dental team takes to assess, plan, advise, and document your emergency treatment (and/or advice).
